Denis Lemieux (Yvonn Barrette)

Denis Lemieux is a character from the 1977 film Slap Shot. He is the goaltender or the Charlestown Chiefs and wears #1 on his jersey.

Johnny Upton (Allan Nicholls)

Johnny Upton is a defenseman on the Charlestown Chiefs. He wears number 12 and is notable for being the team Captain. He is the only player to wear a helmet on the team and a distinct handlebar moustache.

Keith Primeau

Keith Primeau played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings, Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes and Philadelphia Flyers. 

Brian Propp

Brian Propp played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League from 1979 until 1994. Brian played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins, Minnesota North Stars and Hartford Whalers. 

Dave Hanson

Dave Hanson is best known for playing “Jack,” one of the unforgettable Hanson Brothers in the movie Slap Shot. He is a former professional hockey player who played 10 seasons, including stints with three World Hockey Association teams and the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota North Stars.

Kelsey Koelzer

Kelsey Koelzer was drafted 1st overall by the Metropolitan Riveters in the 2016 NWHL Draft. Kelsey is the first black player to be the first overall pick in a professional North American hockey league draft. Kelsey is retired from the ladies game but was a solid defensive player.
